WWF: Country Representative

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Country Representative. Country Representative will provide vision and leadership for the WWF program in Bolivia and effective high-level representation of WWF with key audiences to build strength and support for the program. Directs, manages and takes responsibility for all activities of WWF in Bolivia to ensure that the policy, conservation, communication, financial and fundraising activities of the Program Office add up to a unified effort which accomplishes WWF's goals in Bolivia. Ensures that all operating rules and systems are adequate and that the WWF Bolivia Program's legal and reporting requirements are met and are in line with WWF's policies, procedures and standards.

Basic Requirements:

Applicants must have a higher degree (PhD or Masters) in conservation, natural sciences, management, international development or a related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for higher academic qualifications. Technical proficiency in the field of conservation, natural-resource management or international development, with at least 10 years professional experience, 3-5 years of which should be in the region, with demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams under complex scenarios. This position will be based in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
