COAL Prize for Art and Environment
COAL is the Coalition for Art and Sustainable Development, based in France. COAL sponsors a competition to reward contemporary artists on the theme of the environment. The call is open internationally. Two prizes will be awarded in 2011, including one on the theme of forests (2011 is the International Year of the Forest). The amount of the prize is 10 thousand euros. Proposals close 30 April 2011.
