The PTES supports conservationists and researchers that aim for the preservation of endangered species, either through research or practical field work. Small grants are between £2 thousand and £8 thousand for projects of up to two years. Continuation grants are between £10 thousand and £25 thousand for projects of two and five years that build from previous PTES small grants (i.e., not available to first-time applicants). The closing dates for submissions are 15 June 2011 for small grants, and 20 July 2011 for continuation grants.
